Lynn Moon McAllister is a native of Buena Vista, GA, but was a long time resident of Pigeon Forge, TN, as owner of the Elvis Presley Museum.  She operated the museum for more than 40 years and directed live entertainment at the facility’s TCB Theatre during the attraction’s final decade of operation.

McAllister’s musical background is rooted in everything Elvis, as well as country, southern gospel and oldies.  She has performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage with Roy Acuff; at Opryland USA as a singer/dancer; and, in the Vern Gosdin road show as a featured and background singer.  

As a vocal coach, McAllister has written vocal arrangements and taught trio and quartet vocals for the Grand Majestic Theatre’s America’s Hit Parade show in Pigeon Forge; and, she has coached four Georgia High School Association State Literary Champions, two in Boys Quartet and two in Boys Solo.

Her degrees in higher education include a Master of Science in Sport Administration from the University of Tennessee; a Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education & Recreation from Columbus State University; and, an Associate of Arts in Physical Education with a minor in Music Theory from Chattahoochee Valley State.

McAllister currently resides with her husband, Donald, in her home town of Buena Vista, GA, where they have renovated a city block on the town square to establish Moon Family Productions.  The facility houses Moon Family Theatre, a 175 seat venue for live entertainment; Performance Academy, an after school music program; and, Coffee Club and Los Aztecas, two food service venues. 

McAllister currently produces all Moon Family Theatre events; directs all Performance Academy events, including the annual PA Pageant; and, serves as President of Performance Academy Scholarship Fund, Inc., a non-profit organization which provides tuition funding for deserving music students.
